Default Now THAT's a snow storm.

Just checking weather reports around the "right coast" this morning, to see how this storm treated different areas.

Came across this report from the National Weather Service in the Maine and New Hampshire area:

CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION OF

I thought you were talking about Iowa in the olden days of one room school houses. When the kids walked to school in snow so deep all the teacher saw coming to school was just their hats moving on the snow.
The tall kids were to hold the hands of the shorter ones, so they didn't get lost.

every once in awhile we would get at least 2 feet of snow in chicago.

i had a 4 block walk to grade school,

    no snow days back then,

we never did walk on shoveled sidewalks, we walked on the piles of snow

i don't miss it here in florida
