as far as the gun goes, i just offered him a little more than half of what he was asking which was 40. i woulda paid quite a bit more after i got a close look at it since it was in good shape and just needed a transformer. as i mentioned it was raining and i think he knew the turn out was going to be low. plus as is the case with many bulky items at yard sales, the sellers want them gone and don't want to have to move them back to wherever.
