    Default inexpensive place for parts

    hey there.

I found some nice leaf switches and microswitches for a couple bucks each at this website electronicsurplus.com

also, I went back today and round a perfect transformer 10 vac 7.5 amps with an 8 foot cord that came off of some children's game. only $3. I ordered 6 and I think they still have a couple hundred. this will be perfect for when I want to plug in the vintages.

first pic shows the switches. the key is for scale. didn't have a quarter handy. second pic shows the small microswitch in the ball tray to indicate empty hopper. the first try I did with the longer arm switch didn't work - the balls kept getting stuck behind the arm and not emptying enough to release the lever.

I am running the dishwasher with the sanyo comet II L's parts. hopefully, they will still look familiar when they're clean and after I've taken a nap. I took lots of pictures and video, and I still have the other comet II's for reference, just in case.

it was really easy to pull the whole back off of this one. there were 3 plastic knobs on screws. wish they were all this easy to access, as you can get to the deep tracks easily this way.

    still having a blast!
