    Question Machine turns off automaticaly

I am having troubles with my machine it is called wonder review it has pink elephants on it, but now on to the problem you can turn it on and it will stay on for 1 to 3 min then it shuts itself off when it does this everything shuts off except the green power switch still stays lit up so I know the power switch is still getting power but the rest of the machine isnt. Any ideas as to what is wrong? If you would like a picture please let me know I have them they are just to big to upload.

sounds like there could be a lose connection somewhere, check all the connectors into the boards and see if thats changes anything.

im not really that good with fixings problems but im sure someone here could help you

Thank you I did try that I checked all connections from the power supply to the board and there was no improvement I also cleaned them all out with air like you do on computers that also had no effect on anything I contacted the place that did the refurbish on this machine and they no longer do pachislo machines so they were no help at all.

It is in very nice shape other than this little problem and I hate to have it sitting there just not working when we first got it, it was working great for a long time then one day this just stated.

Sounds like you have a bad capacitor,transistor,I.C. or printed circuit board broken or burnt out circuit run ( the shiny printed runs to each compoment on the board) . Get a good magnifying glass a light to check them out .

I hope that I am wrong

That doesn't sound good I couldn't see any breaks but I am going to check in the morning when there is strong sun light coming in. What happens if that is the problem?

Did you check the fuse next to the power switch?

The fuse looked fine but can anybody tell me where a good place to get new fuses would be?

I've picked up some fuses from Fry's Electronics .The hard to find ones are not cheap.

I think I am doomed I got a tester and there is power going into the main board and so the main board is where the problems are but thats about as far as I can figure.

Idaho is a bit to far for me to make a service call any one else in the vasinity that could help this guy out? he's done the ground work here but it sounds like its time for a hands on approch to this machine.
