Default My first purchase through Kiai

I decided awhile back to go ahead and get a Evagelion 3 cell from YJA.

I contacted Kiai, made the purchase of the cell (along with some other items)

    Everything went smooth as glass.
Shipping took 9 days (including setting in customs over the christmas holiday weekend, 4 days)

Eva 3 is a fun game, a nice variety of reachs and fevers. It gave me 10 fevers in the first few hours of play.

It plays alot like Space Invaders, as far as variety of different reachs and fevers.

I am now an Evangelion fan

I have a short list of machines that I'm looking at on YJA, I think I'll have to add Eva 4 to that list

Cool, you got some Star Wars 2 seat backs?

The Eva's are Bisty games (red, blue and purple frames), I see you have it in the 'rare' white frame!

There were a bunch of triangular flags up not too long ago, would have been a good compliment to the backs.

Although the prices on Eva 4 are coming down (in some instances, a lot!) save up big time for the shipping!

Yeah, I saw the flags,DVD's, golf balls etc.

I just had to say no more
I'm already close to the poor house as it is

If I do buy a complete machine soon, I'll check on 'slow boat shipping'

I don't think you can slo boat a whole machine, too big (overall size) believe it or not. If you could, I'd have a lot more games!

Hmm, "slo boat" = surface mail, which means by sea? This is what I ordered during the last weeks, I currently have three complete machines shipping that way from japan to europe, so that should not be a problem.

Mmm... I remember Dawn of the Fantasy as a full machine costing me about $100 in total. Then shipping the thing home was an extra $350.

Oh well. Now I own hundreds of machines!

I just have to walk down the street to one of my many storage warehouses where the machines are kept in pristine working condition by a variety of able-bodied staff. Pick my favorite for the day and have fun...

Of course, since I'm so generous, my favorite is sometimes taken by other people who are allowed into my storage areas to play...

And for some reason, no matter how many times I explain it, I still have to rent my own balls...

When I went in for the Eva 5 opening... The person next to me put $750 (converted from Yen) into his machine and it didn't even pay off for him. You can spend about $200 an hour if you throttle through.

I mean, I didn't have a good machine either, but at least I broke even! (And even then, I had a much, much lower limit. I went in for fun, never profit.)

    On topic: Kiai's awesome. Really.

    Congrats on the Eva.

I have a Eva game for the Nintendo DS. CR Neon Genesis Evangelion Pachinko.

I'm not sure if it's a port of an actual machine or made just for the DS. It's not as fun to play as a real machine but the video action is spot on.
