One for the Kids

First I would like to thank the forum members, who would have thunk all this info. I bought the kids (haha) a Starwars machine for xmas. Took 2 days and one long night to build the cabinet (Thanks Ken524). Well the machine was a hit, for all of us. My question is: is there a concern with the heat effecting the electronics in the cabinet? Do you folks generally leave them plugged in?

even when you turn it off, unless you cut power to the transformer, it will still be on. i always kill the power to the machine with a power switch or a switched plug on the wall.
