Has anyone ever tried to make money with Pachislots?

I don't mean by modifying them to take money, but more like getting a bunch of them together and having people rent out the tokens for them. You know, the way they do it overseas.

That's how they did it when I was over there anyway. And they had some good prizes available if you got a lot of tokens. I'm not sure how our laws would work, but isn't playing for tokens pretty-much the same as ski-ball at Chuck E. Cheese?

I just think it would be neat to have a business like that.

There are a couple members here who rent their machines out as business.

They are usually rented out for parties with a casino theme from gameroom suppliers.

Not to be used as gambling but just the fun of playing. Some even have Auto credit built in so there are no tokens involved.

I rent machines for both Parties and as carnival game booths. I am still looking to add a bunch of unmodified pachinko machines to add to the carnival/arcade setup. It is great as a fundraiser but the money is not that great unless the jobs are rentals of 8 or more.

PM me if you are interested in renting, I am setting up a network site but I want to be sure of the type of machines. The Party Rentals need to be mostly English machines and 1, 2, or 3 token bets to actually work. AND you need to be willing to spend some time contacting Party Producers etc locally to get started.
