Default Fire Roulette - new purchase - need help/advice!

    Hi all

I'm thinking of buying the above model ( tinyurl.com/4j6f5 ). The seller wants $50CAD for it but he lost the key for it so I would need to get a new lock and probably a reset key (unless there's on inside). Is there anyone in Canada (more specifically Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto) that might be able to service this machine? Is this easily fixed at home? The machine itself turns on, but what I noticed was that the wheels are rubbing against the front door and when I pressed the farthest left button it didn't stop the first wheel from spinning.

Any help in this matter is appreciated.

    Cheers

    Alex

to get in it the first time you usually can reach in thru the bottom and pull down on the lever to open the door, then if you wanted you could drill the lock so you could open it with a screwdriver. if the reels are rubbing against the from door maybe the reel box just isnt set back in the case far enough. i dont know of anyone that does service work in canada

There is a seller on ebay that's in Ontario, Canada (userid: canadaslot):

    http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQgotopage...sortpropertyZ1

I would suggest contacting him for keys.

You could also check with www.pachislo.com for replacement keys.

Another option maybe to contact www.pachislousa.com and ask them for a workaround. I think they don't use keys and they may help you convert yours.

BTW, that is a pretty neat looking machine!

pachislousa.com does not use keys the drill the lock so it can be used with any key or screwdriver.

They do that to save themselves 2 bucks on each machine. The keys dont have to be shipped with them. Ive never seen that machine, looks pretty neat! Anyone know anything about it?
