You think that's bad, a buddy of mine got a call of a sea lion near the freeway near the town of Los Banos several years ago (that's about 70 miles inland and over at least two mountain ranges). He of course thought it was a BS call until he got there.

And then this happened. The media had a field day with it. These things are 300 pounds of mean, and they smell bad, too. He couldn't get it off his car.

Growing up (80's) I had a friend from the Philippines, and I used to eat diner at his house all the time. I didn't find out until later, but I remember it as being quite tasty... I didn't care for the fish head soup though!

I Too have had Dog in my meals.

While Stationed in Japan I found out it was the "Beef" in the Ramen Soup I purchased at the local Shop.
