Default If your gonna restore learn from my big mistake

Hi, I hadn't seen a pachinko machine in about 20 yrs., but was online and happened to see one. I decided i was gonna fix it up. Well let me give you step one...Put some feet on it because its top heavy. I came close to disaster today and just wanted to share this before anybody did what i did. I've been working on it for a little over a week. Heres the posts as it came along http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/vint...hine-help.html

the first thing I have always done is put on feet if it didn't come with any.

I have Fever Queen and Hanafuda pachislos that are very top heavy when you open the door, I put a wood screw and large washer right thru the bottom of the machine right into the stands.

    Here's another don't...

Don't place the machine in it's 'raw form' on your wife's kitchen table (with a soft finish) as there may be exposed nails that were used to attach it originally to a wall!

    Just some more friendly advice!

I had exposed screws at the bottom (used to screw the power supply into the frame - going through the frame and coming out at the bottom) and by the time I realized what was going on, my work bench was totally scratched up... (This was with a modern pachi, but the effect is the same...)
Pachinkos and Pachislos are bad ... they attract me way too much!
