Prize Ball lamp on Galaxy Railways

Hello all,

on my Galaxy Railways after a bit of playing the yellow prize ball light comes on (top left corner of the machine), and stays on until I do a reset (I am not sure what triggers it to come on).

What does that light mean? I have never seen it on my Marilyn game - and both are Sankyo Lumina frames.

sounds like it owes you payouts. did you run out of balls in the upper tray?
maybe a pic of the offending light?

That's the payout light. It shows when balls are paid out or when upper ball tray is empty.

the one on the left(yellow) should show during payouts or when they are owed because you ran out of balls the one on the right(red) comes on to show you are out of balls.

Yes !!!

Yellow light is supposed to blink when you hit the start pocket or any pocket that pays you. When the Yellow light is on steady that means the machine "owes" you balls. This is most often caused by being out of balls in the top hopper That will be Verified by the Red light being on steady as well.

Fill the top hopper (and keep filling it if necessary) and let the machine "catch up" (balls will be coming out into the tray). The light should go out and you will not have to reset !

Always make sure you have plenty of balls.

During fever... if you shoot balls, and don't have a high speed lifter( or fast hands ), you will run out of balls, OR overfill the payout tray in which case some other lights will come on.

or you could do the mod like I did on Indiana Jones and not worry about the balls.

Just kidding, that mod is not for the faint of heart
