Default Few Problems, mostly shooter mech

    Hey everyone!

Got a few problems with my new machine, first of All is when i turn the shooter knob. It's really sensitive, and shoots even when turned slightly (resulting in the ball falling back down the chute) Now, when i turn it fully it shoots to about halfway across the playfield. and at about half way turned it shoots (still) down the chute.

I've included some pictures of the shooter mechanism, the first picture is the black box located directly in front of where the motor lies, this box has a screw on it and an L and an H, which as an upward slope between the two letters, when i turned this all the way to the L the shooter knob doesnt work, when i turn it to the point where it starts shooting, and all the way to the H it shows no difference in power. The second picture is underneath that box, it has engraved in the metal there an L .. 1 2 3 4 5 H(very hard to read), and a piece of plastic that rotates when the shooter knob is turned, my guess is denoting the speed of the ball shot.

The other question I had is with the little piece of metal that the ball passes through when it enters the playfield it was bent outwards (and balls kept bouncing off pins and going back down the shooter lane) So I bent it up... and ended up losing some more ball power. (guess its not a question, more of a statement)

Anyway another question I had was with the sub roulette, when I get the ball into the gates (denoted by yellow arrows in picture three) it lights up the lights on the bottom (denoted by the green arrow in the picture) and ON the front of that there looks to be a mini LCD screen (never turns on) but those count down (like built up "starts") and occasioanly it goes ba-bing! and the arms open, so is there a way to replace that sub roulette...

And does anyone know what that box is on the back? ( looks like odds almost ) It's got two buttons, and a LED screen (which currently has a 0). Lastly does anyone know what the jumpers do in the last picture. The ones to the left of the screen titled "A" "B" "C" in yellow red and blue, the jumpers correspond with the colors.

If you need to see better pictures I'll borrow my girlfriends fancy camera.. but thats the best I can do right now!

Thanks for all your help everyone

well the adjustment knob in back put in the 1/2 way between the L and H and a picture of the hammer launch area would help . I've hadn't worked on that type (T.V. tube screen) since 2004 but i will try to help as much as i can to one Wisconsinite to another

Okay, well I put the adjustment on 1/2 and it makes no difference.
Even on full power it still shoots the same distance.
Illl post a picture in a bit of the hammer launch area.
