    Default Pachi Cabinets?

Hi guys. sorry for the lack of contact, i havent been as active as id want to be (Work and Social Life a bit hectic lol).. anyway after owning my Faithful Tekken Pachislo for a couple of years now, ive decided to look out onto the horizon for a new machine.

I have Won and paid for, a Lord of The Rings Pachinko from Steve at Skytvspecials, via eBay.
One thing he mentioned was (which i wasnt orignally aware of until i twigged what he meant at work today lol), was that it doesnt have a cabinet.

Its no major deal really, i dont think, well until i can source a Cabinet seller, (as im pants at carpentry.. oh and Kudos to everyone who has made their own, been looking through them and they look FAB!)

So my question to anyone who reads this would be...
do you know anyone in the UK who sells Pachinko cabinets (at a good price please), or i spose in the USA who sells to the UK.
I checked Pachitalks auction house, but couldnt see one, so thats that option out the window lol.
Or.. is there any Members here who could sell me a cabinet or make one etc..

I will be more active in future... and the arrival of my new machine will give me even more insentive to.

Thanks guys.. all the best and look forward to your response.

    Nick

Maybe you can simply take the Ken 524 plans to a local carpenter and have him make it for you?

    Ken's Pachinko Cab

Its a fantastic cabinet a it holds lots of balls in the top and is also very attractive.

the wood should cost around $20 dont know what a carpenter would charge to cut the pieces and put them together.

    I only have 1 out of 9 Pachinko's in a cabinet,

I think most people here play them as they are with just 2 pieces of timber as legs, it certainly won't stop you enjoying your pachinko playing!!

I noticed you were looking for some general Pachinko advice in the Shout Box too, and we do have a research centre here, one of the buttons along the top under the PachiTalk name, you just might need to make another post first though and it will open up to you

    Congrats on the new Pachi

btw Steve did use to sell MDF Cabinets with his pachinkos, as an extra, (think they were about £30 or £40 )although not as nice as a real wood cabinet, they can be painted up, you could always contact him to see if he has any left??

Hanabi - He doesn't have any left, when I was talking to him at the weekend at the pinball show he was saying that the guy that made them for him was ill and wouldn't be able to get any more for now anyway. He is also running very low on pachinko balls and I think (according to his e-bay ad only sending out 100 balls - or soemthing like that) with any new machine

Nah mate, its 50 ><.. hehe, but i bought 500 balls from the USA for about £30 with p&p, which i didnt mind actually because apparently its got "elvish" looking writing on it (i know its just the japanese casino name), but it looks really nice and would go well with my LOTR pachinko.

So what would i need just to make some feet??

Just had a quick measure of the feet on my own Pachinkos

    They are roughly

    16" long x 3" Wide

    and approx 1/2" thick

these help steady the Pachinko and enable free standing play,

You will need to screw them into the bottom of the wooden frame,

Not sure how many fixings are needed or the size required, but someone is bound to come along
with the definitive answer for you

    Smile Re: Pachi Cabinets?

Was trying to find a pic that shows my Pachi's feet,

although they don't show up too clearly against the laminate floor,

sorry it's not a good pic, but you can get the idea, hopefully...

*edit added another pic, might be a bit clearer. just ignore the pumpkin, it was halloween
