It's alive!!!
I was awoken this morning by the postman with two huge boxes from Captain Superfantabulous McAwesome, a.k.a Kiai.
Inside one as the body, and inside the other the door of my first pachislo, a Garou Densetsu Special from SNK Playmore. After fiddling with wires, plugging it in and then fiddling with buttons I managed to set it to payout 3, and then it started moaning at me, and it took me a while to figure out I forgot to put tokens into it haha.
Once I put coins into the thing inside and then stuck 50 more in the slot, the fun began, and somewhere time itself seemed to disapear and soon a couple of hours had gone buy and i figured I better unplug it before I spent the entire day playing.
I turned it on again this evening (in its tempory home until the room its supposed to go in is finished) to take some pictures to post on here, and whilst playing I hit the big bonus so included some pictures of it as well.
During big bonus you have a choice of 3 minigame things by choosing which character you want. With terry (what i picked) its like a 2D beatemup game and you pick if you want to attack, guard or chance by whichever reel you stop first, then depending what you get determines if you are successful or not I think. I saw a vid on youtube of it and there looked to be more too it, but I got beat so didn't get to see much of it haha. The other 2 minigames I don't know much about, the Joe one is a bingo game and you have to get the desired symbols to clear a row of the board, the Andy bonus round I have absolutely no idea about I'll have to try it next time
Anyway I've waffled enough, thanks to everyone here at pachitalk being so great when I first game here in search of a machine, I'll be sure to try and pass on the niceness to others :-).
