E-1 Error on my King Camel

I tried searching for this, but nothing came back against "E1" or "E-1" even thought I KNOW there are posts with this string. Must be a limitation of the search engine!

I bought my Pachislos a few years back for my games room, but they don't get much use.

They only generally get switched on when I have visitors. Today was that day and when I switched them on, they all needed resetting because they have been off so long (this is normal).. But my King Camel has an 'E-1' error.

Looking at the manuals, E1 seems to relate to a jammed hopper, but this doesn't seem to be the case, as if I flick the switch inside, it spits out coins nicely.. Never the less, I have taken the hopper out, emptied and and it seems fine.

Unfortunatly, the E1 error remains.. Does anyone know what this means and what the cause might be?

Found that one too.. I was hopful when he said that he did loads of resets, but its not working for me..

Curiously, I also powered it on with the hopper disconnected and according to the manual I should get an E-8 error.. But i still get E-1, so it doesn't sound good.

Its weird as NOTHING has happened to it since the last time I used it! Hopefully its something simple.. Fingers crossed!

try reseating all your connections, sometimes its just a poor contact somewhere.

That is what I would do, reseat all of the connections and see if that cures it. I have a King Camel but have never had a E-1 error on it.
