    Default HELP!! with sankyo machine

    Hi guys;
    We just picked up A sankyo machine from A freecycle member and we have no idea what we have. There are some numbers on the back 239-4
    and then there is a sticker with nissin (0277) 44-8833.
    There are some wires that work around and up to A square plug.Is this suppose to have A power source to it.
    We don't know the age, name or anything about this machine other then we wanted it and it was for free. Now we can't wait to get it working.
    Have A bunch of balls and the bottom tray.
    If any body can help us out or point us in the right direction it would be great.
    Thanks for having this great forum.hope the pictures come out

    That is a nice machine. I like the row of pockets across the middle.

    The lights can be fixed easily. Just pick up a 9v battery snap connector and a metal U-bracket from Radio Shack. Clip off the square white connector and wire the battery to the white and the red wire. Cap off the blue wire. See my photo below.

    Replacement bulbs are #50 Screw-Base Lamp 7.5v 220mA. You'll have a light that goes on when the top hopper is empty: the switch is triggered by the white plastic bar with a weight attached. The other light in the center will go on when you get a ball in a pocket.

    Here's a link the the operating manual in the Research Center. That should tell you all you need to know about operating it: PachiTalk Research Center - Machine Manuals - Semi-Automatic - PachiTalk. If you can't get in right away, go reply to a bunch of posts (ex. "nice machine", "I want one", etc.), then you'll get access.

    Thanks for the info. This will also run the spinner right. I think I will just attach my wires to the connector so that I'm not changing the original system.

    All the moving parts are mechanical. The battery only powers lights, so you should be able to play the machine once you have enough balls in the top hopper.

    Throw away any rusted balls since they will scratch the playfield. And don't clean the playfield with soap and water—it will soak in around the nail holes and permanently stain the printed paper under the laminate. Search other posts for cleaning tips.
