Just a little something to show how dirty this was. The pictures are of the Leg Robot that hides below the LCD screen. During a premium reach, the legs come all the way out and the Red Robot comes all the way down from the top to form a big robot.

Hey just a thought, how are you doing on cleaning supplies? Is there anything you could use along the lines of paper towels, rags, Q-tips or something used for cleaning. Seeing as you are doing most of Arby's machines, do you need a little $ help?

No, any $ should go to Arby.

I bought a 50-pack of terry towels so I can wash and reuse them, 409 in a gallon size, a 1750 pack of Q-Tips, plastic containers for temp storage and rinsing small parts and toothbrushes 10 for $10 (thank you BJ's Wholesale Club!). I'd also like to thank the ladies (no one specific - women in general) for those little eye shadow applicators (little foam pad on a thin plastic handle - gets in real tight spaces!) The dirt comes off easily by just soaking in water, then a brushing, then rinse. It's just there are so many parts to these things! I only have 2 screws left over from the cel!

Well, the Aquarion is done. The glueing and clamping worked great on this cel (6" racheting bar clamps on sale at Harbour Freight - $1.99 each, got 7, still only enough for 1/2 the cel at a time), some of the layers stuck out the edge a bit, so got a trimming router and bit (again, Harbour Freight), trimmed it up nice. Went back together a lot easier than it came apart.

The only issues I have now are the plastic backing on the LCD bubbled a bit, so now that it's all clean it can be seen, but not a huge issue, 2 RGB LED's aren't lighting blue in the frame, simple connection issue, and the glass is dirty between the panes, big issue! I've drilled a 1/4" hole in one end of the plastic surround, but not sure what to use to clean in with. I'm wondering how well a gun cleaning brush (the soft swab one) would work.

Yep...That may work. Use a dishwasher soap that won't leave spots...Or at least distilled water. That will allow it to dry without any residues.

Episode 1B - Looney Toons, Back In Action.

Dragged up this cel, a lot cleaner than most, but a lot of plywood separation. Realized the reason only the middle separates - there are short screws on the front and back that hold plastic pieces on and they're long enough to hold only several layers per side.

Same as Aquarion, took the LCD apart and mostly dried it, the other boards looked pretty good. Brought a Lumina case up (doing this in my room), the cel wouldn't fit because it was too thick for the frame clamps so I jerry rigged it to just stay there with everything open. Flipped the switch and everything came on fine. This is a loud one!

Now to take it completely apart for gluing.

That was my initial thought, but it might be hard to align the front and back, plus some of the pins (those holding the metal rails) pass thru at least a layer or two of the center. So far, the Looney Toons is split the most, seems to be gluing up fine so far.

Looney Toons is 'Back In Action'!

Wood glued up pretty well, bottom edge still a little too thick for the 5th cell clamp (that little one at the bottom, not really needed to have game work), but other clamps work fine. Cel Pica cleaned, reassembled, and played, had two Fevers so far, too loud to play it now.

    Now what should be next?

I think it's time to tear into the Spin Luck or Harley. They've been sitting in the garage with their doors open drying since I got back. Reels still move freely, we'll see...
