Default Look what y'all have done!

Not long after finding this forum - my pachinko addiction went into full swing. Before I really knew what hit me, I was the proud owner of FOUR pachinko machines. I really enjoy taking them apart, getting 'em working and cleaning them up. Granted, my restoration efforts pale in comparison to most here, but it's fun - and that's the most important part.

My kids love 'em - but the wife...well ...not so much. We were talking about where to put them, and I started to imagine having my own little pachinko parlor. I was originally just going to mount a couple together (maybe three)...but the wife said 'why don't you just build a shelf across that entire wall. I love my wife. So, after a few too many trips to Home Depot - my dream has been realized. The only thing I have left to do is get power to the lights.

Welcome to the Dark Side SunKing ! As for your question about the lights for the "Vintage " Machines may i suggest converting the lamps to L.E.D. s ?

Radio Shack has the 5mm 3vdc super bright white 2 pack for under $ 3.00 and a 2 AAA battery holder for .99 and just get the bag of rubber grometts to hold the L.E.D. s in place .

Thanks! ...and yes - you are correct. I can fit one more machine - but then I wouldn't have room for any beverages. Hmmmm, a place for a cold beer or another pachinko machine? ...tough one.

Indeed they are (at least, mine is.)

I've considered that, but decided I'd rather not worry about batteries. The machines are all wired and ready to go. I have a couple 12v transformers that work great - I just need to get power to 'em (without having a bunch of wires exposed). I should get some time to work on that this weekend.

Thanks again for all the comments. It's nice to have an understanding crowd, as opposed to most people who think I"ve gone a bit crazy.

Nice collection you got there! Never seen older style pachinko's like that. I really want to enter the darker side by getting an older one and restoring it but I am not a hands on kinda guy. Right now I've got all my babies all over the room with no place to call home. I did just order a walmart tv cart from another post seeing if that is the way I want to set up my room. But welcome to Pachitalk you will be glad you joined! I have been treated with respect and friendship since I have joined and am glad I did! Other people to share my same sickness with!

Try a hang down cup holder like the old ones for the car door. they work GREAT.

And you could fit that 5th Elusive Pachi in there snugly...
