Goku the Monkey King Comes to Wii

...and morphs into something like Defender.

For those who have a Wii and like the Aruze pachislot Monkey Magic, Goku is making his way into a shooter game. He rides his cloud and battles the baddies ala Defender and R-Type games. $20 title too.

I just bought a Wii, and can't wait to get my hands on all the cool games coming out...
used to play R-Type many moons ago...



Right now there is a shortage of Mario Cart and Wii Fit over here,

but I managed to snap up Mario Cart this morning using a real time stock locator and hoping to
snaffle up a Wii fit same way

So if anyone has any recommendations for games, I'd love to hear them

Super Mario Galaxy is great. Guitar Hero 3 is too. And for something very laid back, relaxing, and not truly a game per se, check out Endless Ocean.

I have Guitar Hero II and III for the Xbox 360 and they are my
favourites for that platform...

Endless Ocean is a scuba "simulator". It's completely non-linear if you want it to be, although there are specific tasks you can take on to keep things moving along at a cetain pace. You will see and catalog over a hundred species of marine life...including some really big creatures. I can easily spend an hour at a time on this without even realizing.

My kids love the Mario and Sonic at the Olympics... it is a little more physically challenging than some of the other games and up to four can play if you have the extra Wiimotes, you also need the Nunchucks for running (perhaps you can do it without them too, not sure). They also like Smooth Moves which is a one player game with lots of tiny little games that utilize the Wiimote in strange ways. We are looking to get the Wii Fit as soon as possible.

Still running my Real Time Stock Locator to try and track down a copy of Wii Fit at the normal price,
really not going to go the 'over inflated taking advantage' way of the Ebay Sellers right now...

Mario Kart just arrived, only ordered it yesterday!!

and it seems we have the Mario & Sonic at the Olympics still unopened,
it came with the Bundle

And as it is the Children's Half term right now, I expect the games and the
kids to be getting a work out...

luckily here in Greece we have not had wii shortages, they are readily available as are games controllers etc etc..

for once we are lucky too..

You can run without the nunchuk in Mario/Sonic Olympics, but you don't want to. I don't think they compensated for the fact that you are only getting half the number of "pumps". You basically have to pump your single Wiimote twice as fast (impossible) to get the times you can WITH the nunchuk. Fun game...I'm ok

at every event except the swimming ones. I think I'm missing something there.

WiiFits are sold out around here, but I preordered ours. I don't think it'll be as bad as the Wii console itself was though. Should become more readialy available in the coming weeks.

Nothing against the ebay scalpers personally...but I'd never pay more for something which they grab up and try to sell for a profit.

Hmm...we should post console codes here.
