I have an Alladin Magic machine and the reels won't stop when I push the stop buttons. They do stop when they time out. Any idea as to a simple solution to this problem?

check your connections to the buttons and stop board.

and make sure one of the other buttons is not stuck. ( bet1, max bet, spin knob, etc)

Both suggestions are good However, focus on the little circuit board usually mounted on the upper right hand side of the machine close to the reels. make sure the connector is secure. Also put a tester across the fuse to be sure it is not bad. If this is all good, and the buttons all have a good action to them I am betting you need to replace that board. Good thing is that you can upgrade to an autostop in the process if you want.
