Thinking about buying my first Harley Davidson bike

i put 78.000 miles on my last roadking and just changed oil/tuneup and tires with no other problems

no no no silly goose !! you know i changed them more than that but had no major probs and no leaks in 78,000 miles

most of my smaller bikes 125cc to 175cc were new last years models, got them at a discount,

rode a year sold them and bought another new one for the next year.

Cool! I raced CBR600F2 myself. I have the fortune to live 5 miles from Ten Kate and in 1994 he sold me the quickest CBR in Europe. It was at the end of the season and the new 1995 F3 model was released. It took about 6 weeks to get the new bikes as quick as the old ones
I also raced the F3, ZZR600 and ZXR400

I still got my ZXR in the shed, but don't dare use it on the roads ... The need for speed and Cops, don't really mix

Go with the real Harley! A real Harley will hold its value far better than any of the imports; with the exception of the Sportster. The Sportster won't hold its value because it's considered a starter bike. If you plan to buy a Harley get the Softail; It's a real nice looking and riding bike.
