2182 Mini lamp Sockets

Im looking for the rubber sockets that are relampable for the Mini lamps that are used in the Arepachi scoreboards.

The lamp model number is #2182 and they are wire based.

The lamps are commonly found but the sockets are just about impossible if not outright impossible to find.

You can see the rubber sockets in the photos. They simply slip over the terminals on the PC board.

What would I use for moulds?

make a plaster 2 piece mold of orginal and then pour silicone in to harden???

All you really need is something that will hold the lamp wires against the pins, like a piece of foam surrounded by shrink wrap or rubber tubing. Don't heat the wrap, just find a size that will fit around the pins like 3/16 or such, run the wire leads down the inside and fold up the outside. Stick the pice of foam between them and push down on the pins.

They look like the sockets for my Christmas light I had outside just a different color. Not sure if they would work or not.

It sounds like a good design only the heat of the bulbs would shrink the Wrap so that might not do. The Rubber tubing might be a better option. I will have to find a piece of foam that doesn't burn from the lamp heat as well.
