Only problem with these type of cars is the safety factor. I would not want to be in an accident in one of these. They are cool looking though!

as for safety issues, is there really merit to the if it aint big it aint safe?

Does a vehicles size really matter or is it more a matter of how it is engineered to put the damage into the vehicle as apposed to the occupants?

these are things ive always wondered... as in most European countries you will find that the size of the vehicles are quite small in comparison to North American vehicles.

I was just thinking of the time when I was driving my VW Corrado G60 and a suburban sideswiped me. The driver of the Suburban just kept on going, not knowing they sideswiped me. I had to chase after them. They said they didn't even see me or hear anything. This almost happened again after I got it fixed. Someone said it was because I had it lowered and it was a white car. I've always thought if the color of the car was another factor in car accidents.

well the pinto is another story all together... its a matter of a car company deciding that it was cheaper to settle possible law suits then spending 10$ per car to make the car safe...

I was almost killed in a Nissan hit by a honda at 40 and was fine in a volvo in a 130mph head on crash with a Ford F-250 4X4.
