Default E.T. Pachinko will not pay off at all

I have an E.T. Pachinko that will not payout at all. I've checked the ball release lever and it is closed. When I open it the balls flow freely into the tray at the very bottom so I know there is no jam there. I've opened the front glass and dropped balls into the start chute...the lcd screen activates and spins 3 different numbers. Even when it comes up 3 of the same still no payout. Is there a motor that could be not working...anything else? Any thoughts appreciated.
    Thanks!

The top hopper is full ? if so . . .

The motor that feeds out the winning spheres is either disconnected or bocked

I hear no sound at all from the motor that sits just below the hopper. Should it be making noise at least trying to payout?

I would check all your connectors to know they are all plugged in good

Check to see if there is an error code on the LED display on the payout control board. I'm guessing that as the motor is not running the machine doesn't think that there is any balls to payout, and so should be showing an error code.

The error codes for the Sansei R&D 'Zerostyle' frame are...

    0 Normal
1 Insufficient Prize Ball Payout (Check Payout Hopper Prize Ball Rail)
2 Insufficient Loan Ball Payout (Check Payout Hopper Loan Ball Rail)
3 Lower Tray Full (Empty Balls From Lower Tray)
4 No Prize Balls (Check For Ball Jams In Prize Ball Rail)
5 No Loan Balls (Check For Ball Jams In Loan Ball Rail)
6 Excess Payment Of Prize Balls (Perform RAM memory clear.)
7 Excess Payment Of Loan Balls (Perform RAM memory clear.)
8 Card Unit Communication Error (Check Card Unit Connections)
9 Communication Error (Check Main Control Board Connections)
. Card Unit Not Connected (Connect Card Unit)

The Zerostyle frame has two payout mechanisms, one for paying out loan balls from the card reader interface, and a seperate one for paying out prize balls. Therefore there are seperate feed rails and channels to the two payout units, it is possible that when you operate the ball dump lever you are only clearing balls through one of the payout units, and there is still something jamming the other one and causing the error.

Before dismantling anything, try turning the machine upside down and rock it from side to side to see if you can shake loose something that might be causing an obstruction in the channels leading to the payout units.
