    Default Part needed: Reel assembly

I am in need of a reel assembly for a Terminator pachislo (Arnie version, IGT 2000) I'm hoping someone has these reels available. The reels on my machine are discolored and one of the reel motors sounds like it's about to die. Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist!

Are the reels truly faded or just covered with tar ???Its amazing what a good cleaning will do for a machine . As for the reel noise does it continue with the door open ? what type of noise is it (squeaking ,grinding, shuddering ).almost all of these can be fixed stepper motors are known for there reliability they don't go bad very often .

Windex with chamois cloth works very well on Discolored reel strips. Probably just Parlor cigarette tar.

open the door and turn the reels by hand, something may be blocking one or it may be misaliegned.

some contact cleaner sprayed on the stepmotor spindle may quiet it down.

Thanks for the replies! The discoloration on the 3 reels can't be cleaned in any normal way- it's almost like something altered the plastic itself, leaving a water stain-like discoloration. It doesn't seem like residue of any sort.

I will try lubing the one stepper motor (it makes a loud whine) since it seems to be a bit louder than the other 2.
