I only buy gas at the store I managed for 6 years, no matter what the price.

I know the tanks are clean, the gas distributer removes any water buildups often and changes line filters every few months.

a good tip to remember is "never fill your tank when they are putting in a load of gas"

the gas in the tanks is mixing with whatever water and sediment is at the bottom when they are dumping a new load. it does settle down to the bottom in a few mins.

the pumps take gas from the 6 inch bottom level of the tank, even if there is a inch of water, it will not pump it out.
