Please help..reels wont spin

I have read every troubleshooting manuel and have reset my machine numerous times everything seems to work other than when I put the tokens in and push on the black knob the reels wont spin... its all in japanese HELP!!!

have ou checked your wire connections to the knob and also to the board the wire goes too??

Do you have an autostop in the machine?

yes it was working great...then the reels decided to have an emotional moment LOL!!

Must be female then When my first machine arrived in non-working order, I found this forum. Many fine people here helped me get it up and running . That was two years ago and I have watched it happen over and over again. While I am not the one to help, I'm sure others will be along to help you figure this thing out. lol ok this is where you'll laugh at me I have no idea about an auto stop its all in japanese where should I look? Thank you everyone for helping me

An auto stop is an add on that is usually something you would have added. Not a lot of machines are sold with them. Basically, an autostop is a small board that connects to the machine with a ribbon cable. If you look at the right side of the machine (most machines at least) you will see a board about 3 X 4 inches mounted on the inside wall. the auto stop replaces that board.

What an Autostop does is make the machine act like a slot machine. Instead of you having to push the reel stop buttons, the board does it for you.

most likely your problem is simple...It's usually a loose connection somewhere. re-seat any cable you see. especially the ones that are above the reels. Do This With The machine unplugged.

Also, You can try the machine with the door open. Check to see if you can hear any of the reel motors trying to spin.

when you put in tokens does it give you credit for them? if so, the machine is not in reset. they would just dump out to the tray if in reset mode. so if it accepts credits then it sounds like a spind knob problem or one of the stop buttons is stuck in.

OOOH! I Just tested that out on my Gamera! If I hold a stop button in, The machines accespts the credits, but nothing happens when I push the knob...Once releasing the stop button, then knob works...I bet that's it!!

Of course you realize that if it is the problem, and you fix it, you will be up all night playing...but don't frett...you will get an extra hour to play your machine!!!

do your buttons light up when you hit the spin knob ?if not it may be as simple as a stuck button and cleaning them by pressing them in and using either windex or alcohol on a paper towel to wipe the inside of the cylinder the button rides in usually will cure the problem . also check the fuse on your reel stop card (the small printed circuit board mounted on the side of the machine with a bunch of relays on it .)if this fuse blows your buttons will not work and you wont get it to spin .also there should be a bank of leds mounted on your main cpu board when you hit a button and hold it one of those leds will light up and when you let go it will go out .try your spin knob and see if a led does go on if a button is stuck then none of the buttons or spin knob will light a led because one will already be lit and you cant have two button leds lit at a time .

I've checked the reels they seem to move fine.. the lever and stop lights do register on the led board.. the max light however does not work nor does the light on the front of the machine ever go from insert to start... the fuse appears to be fine and I have cleaned all buttons and contacts...if you refer to this link... model #4 is exactly like mine. ... YAY for ebay LOL

Did you get your machine from Stealth or just your reference material? If you got your machine from them, how long ago and have you tried to contact them?

does the bet 1 button work press it three times then pull thespin knob do the reels spin?if not try unplugging the max bet button and try it again.

Here are some pics of my King Camel. It has the bet 1 , bet 2 , and credit return buttons on them as well. I tested it out, if any of these buttons are pressed down, you will not get a start light. I turned the machine off, and unplugged them (as seen in the phot) the machine doesn't care. It still worked fine with out this plugged in. See if you have similar plugs, and just unplug them...try the machine..if it works, then you found your problem.
