Well... in a round about way! Today this extremely cute twenty something girl knocks on my door... she says "hey there's some really big and heavy boxes at my house with your name on them... I have no idea what they are..."

And at that instant, neither did I. The Indy and Star Wars weren't supposed to arrive till Friday at the earliest. So I walk over to her side of the building and see a bunch of pachinko machines in front of her door. She asks the million dollar question: "What are these?"

Then my brain starts frantically trying to figure out how I can turn the line "well... you see these are Japanese pachinko slot machines from a Tokyo casino!" into something flirtatious...

/sigh

Best I could do was basically that one line and she kinda looks at me with a blank stare like she's never heard the phrase in her entire life... I get her name and do the neighborly small talk thing then proceed to carry 2 machines + 2 wall mounts over to my apartment. So maybe when they are all setup I'll have to invite the neighbors over to play and see if they catch the fever too!

When my sister was home she saw the heavy box and jokingly asked if it was a Real Doll (its a well doll lonely people use if u didnt know)
I love explaining pachinko's...I like showing older men who only know the vintage models they are blown away.

the thing is not for the girl to get a pachinko, but more for Ernie to get the girl, that way its a win win situation a big bonus if you will, the girl in this case will get to be around pachinkos, and Ernie will get to be around the girl..
