We really like it (I see someone named "tatooedlady" just got one on ebay). Its lcd is transparent and covers the whole front of the reels. From time to time, Don Chan comes out and shoots fireworks over the reels. One of the best descriptions is on BigBear at : http://www.bigbearpachisloshop.com/m...abihyakkei.htm
There is a video on the Stealth website.

At our house, an L-pad was requested... no, demanded to be installed. I think it's somewhat easier to "eye shoot" for us beginners than some I have played.

Is the el vision screen on this similar to say neo planett and neo magic pulsar? Do the images have anything to do with game play or are they just there for show and have no outcome on game play?

The lcd is full color and covers the whole front. It's more like having a "front glass in motion" on the machine. It serves as the front of the machine providing the scene that is usually printed, but done with the lcd. Small things in the scene keep moving, for example, there is a bridge in the background, to the left, and instead of it just being a bridge, you can see the headlights from the cars moving constantly. From time to time, 2 characters (Don Chan and his girlfriend) will set off fireworks that either tell you of a small win to come, or to celebrate a big win. While playing the bonus round, they turn around as if to watch you play, then when you win, she claps or when you lose, she looks down and sheds a tear. It really is more like having the front of the machine come alive, than provide a seperate bonus game.
But it is quite cute and entertaining for guests.

No, the LCDs are not similar.

Neo Planet/Magic Pulsar = monochrome (yellow), just over the reels
    Beast/Hanabi/etc. = full color, about 15"

Yes there are things happening on the LCD that directly relate to the game play.

Thanks, I have been considering getting one for a few days now. It's a toss up between Hanabi Hyakkei and an arra king. I will have to ponder this a tad longer.

I play my Arra King more than my Hanabi Hyakkie.

But that might not be a fair comparison. I have a Beast Sapp (which is better than the Hanabi). So if I want to play that type of machine I'm much more likely to play the Beast than the Hanabi.

Also if you haven't noticed, pachislot777 lists their Hanabi's as "Super-max" on their Ebay posts.

(I wish I could compare it to my Arra King, but you guys keep outbidding me). That's the next one (er, in the group of the next ones?) I would like to get.

Not that this will help answer the question, but I have an HH, as well as an Arra King, and a Beast Sapp. Of the three, I currently play the Arra King the most (although I have yet to figure out the pachinko feature completely, little help?)

I am in the middle of an l-pad project that I plan to finish this weekend, that I believe will make the HH more playable since it is so loud. The Beast Sapp that I have came with a volume mod, but I have never liked it as much as the other two. Something about the boxing thing does not work so much for me.

So to sum up, I really like the display on the HH ... the Arra King is a great looking and fun machine as well.

I also do like the Beast Sapp, however, my wife does not like it as much as the others and most of my friends try to keep their kids away from it.

Also, I notice that when I have friends over, they seem to be drawn (until they hear the volume) equally to the HH and the Arra King. They walk away from the Beast Sapp pretty quickly for some reason.

    I hope this helps. ~spooner

My Beast Sapp came with either two potentiometers or two mono l-pads. I don't really know how to tell them apart. It was definitely an after-market volume mod, however.

    I hope this helps. ~spooner

Groovy ... all I can say is that when I play the Beast Sapp at top volume my ears ring ... I know it is important in the pachinko / pachislo parlors, but WOW. Some of these machines are really, really loud. Maybe I am just too old.

I have actually had my neighbors come over and knock on my door to tell me to turn them down and I live in a house! Of course, I did end up selling a machine to one of my neighbors because of this. Go figure!

Glad to be of help. ~spooner

I play the Beast Sapp the most but I think the Hanabi is the prettiest of the three I have. It's just fun and much more controllable than the Sapp or Arra King
