Default Transformer location on the frame...

Well I opened my machine because I have been battling some bouncing balls that are missing my ramp that returns the balls back to the front bucket... when I opened the door I noticed that there were 2 balls that found their way to right on the high volt legs of the transformer!!! (Glad they had shrink wrap on them)!!

Needless to say this got me worried and I moved the transformer up the side of the case vs the bottom of the original frame. I think this was a good move and I think I had to do this anyway to accomodate for one of Arbys "Spent ball box".

Anyone else doing the transformer side mount vs the bottom of the frame?

Yes, Arby's method is far superior. Once he has the feet in place he makes sure they are long enough out of the back side to butt a 1x4 up against the back of the frame effectively extending the bottom and creating a platform for both the transformer and a ball tray or lifter tray.
