Yeah, it's an air port for the "subwoofer".

I think I posted the positions on the connector where you can insert the sound controllers a long time ago...it should show up in a search though.

There is a thread somewhere with the correct wires to tap for the volume controls. I used it when I first got my Saint Maria. Its #1 left and #6 left, I just looked.

Yes, I did find that post that showed the first and 6th set of wires being the left and right speakers. And the stand alone sub-woofer wires are off by them selves.
What kind of potentiometer did you use?
It doesn't seem like it would be hard to come across a 3 segment pot that would work.
However, I've read that the ones people are using are so sensitive that you have to move it very very little to make the full range of volume.

Any suggestions for a volume control?

    @rubberratt
I'm not sure what this machine sells for but I would guess I got a heck of a deal judging by ones that look simular $50.00!

PS: sorry about the multiple posts earlier in this thread. There was a problem with the board and I kept trying to submit my post. I'm just glad it went at all.

PS - I think the multiple posts were the result of some kinda problem in the site.

True, I'm already thinking about another one
But its not the only machine I own. I also have an older slot machine and several pinballs
Would love to build and addition just for all my games.

[B]Here are a single and two channel Pot. I have the dual in my Dragon Dice. You have full range with it and they are rated at 15 watt.

Well, I went to order and wouldn't you know it, they are out of stock for the stereo pot...
So, I guess I'll wait a while and check back. Tried searching the web for that same part number but no luck. We have a Radio Shack close but I couldn't find any that were rated at 15watts.
Thanks for the links! I printed out the wiring diagram and stuff

A lot of us use these:

    http://www.pachitalk.com/auction/Vol...uction_details

They are easy to install and work well. If you plan on changing the volume a lot then you may want the bigger pots or go with LPADs since you can mount a big knob somewhere. Personally I just install the small volume controls like in the auction, set them to a good level and hardly ever touch them again.

That control would work great in some machines like King Camel. The one I have Raises the volume up when it goes into a bonus round.

It is allot easier for me to just turn the knob from the outside to lower the volume each time a bonus round is entered than having to open up the machine. Then turn it back up after the round is finished.

Thanks again guys. I think I'm going to wait till the knob pots are in stock. I'm also going to order one for my slot machine (Pulsar 777) which has bothered everyone who has played it for the last 10 years! LOL!
