Question on when someone doesn't pay

I have been selling different kids dvd's on ebay and I have one winning bidder that has never responded (I sent 3 emails) and never paid (they have 0 comments), I have waited 10 days for payment (per my ad)...

I did the 2nd chance offer and they purchased it (going to send money order they say).

I want to report the original person to ebay "Report unpaid item" but if I do this I don't want ebay to send them another invoice (since it is sold now to someone else). Or maybe it won't invoice, I don't know. At this point I do not know what to do, any suggestions?

Hopefully I won't get hit with the fleabay fees twice.

wait to file non paying bidder, you have 30 days, they will only refund your final value fees.

If its a sale under $10.00 I usually don't bother anymore,

you final value fee is about 50 cents, you have to file non paying bidder, the wait a week or more, and if Ebay agrees, you then file for final value fee refund.

.It used to be harder to file a few years ago

Well the dvd box set was $15.50, I basically want to make ebay aware of the deadbeat bidder. I did not leave negative feedback, I guess I should but then they probably will on me (like I did something wrong)

I have worked hard at my 285 comments 1 neg from years ago (buyer said they did not get item...next time they should pay for insurance )

my last negatives were for lost packages, buyers couldn't understand why they couldn't get thier money back, even if they didn't buy insurance.

I now do tracking on any item over $10.00 to cover myself with paypal.

Yep all mine are tracked/confirmed either through USPS or Fedex.

I got an email this morning asking me where his item is and I go on to fedex website and it says delivered yesterday with a signature, I think he was trying to scam me until I sent him the tracking info from their site...

I like buying vs selling on there!! alot less headaches!

That is why I have seperate buy and sell accounts. Seperate e-mail accounts for paypal and ebay (4 total). I'm sick of a liar messing up the whole works and bad support from the community.

Knock on wood, I'm up to 317 without a neg. ever on my buy account. But my DOA number that I have not filed a claim for is up to 5, for a seller not worth reporting because I basicily got the item for shipping. Two of them just threw the item in the box to be busted on purpose because they were mad there were no bidders other than me. It is not worth the flack for a refund of a penny or a dollar so you eat the eight to ten dollars shipping.

I guess if it is under $10 it is the cost of doing businees.
