Default Warning Do not use this Combo !!!

Do not use the Combo that I have posted about for noise supression.

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/show...liner+material

The material started to disintergrate leaving thousands of little sticky bit all over the balls and trays.

Took Hours to clean the bottom ball tray after removing the material.

I used Rags and believe it or not Windex to remove the glue . Followed by Pledge and it worked fantastic without harming the paint in any way at all.
You would never know that there was glue or the material there at all it looked absolutly new.

Of course the trays and all ball chutes and the cell had to be and cleaned as well as any part that the balls came in contact with including the balls themselves.

I found a much better solution to the noise and its easier and neater.

I went out and bought a pair rubber van mats they are about 1/8" thick.

I flipped them upside down side and used a razor to shave off the knobs for a smooth surface . Goes very fast and very very easy.
I cut each piece to size using only sissors (I did use the Razor for the Top Feeder tray Hole) and screwed them into place with the smooth shaved surface up.
One for the Top Feeder Tray and one for the bottom Return tray.

The fit and cut is amazing it looks like a factory job and the screws are hidden as they are on the inside edges of the front and rear only.
no need for screws on the sides or bottom surface.

As for the sound What a difference. Now the only sound you hear is the Balls in the cell and in the plastic chutes in the the machine.
The bottom ball tray and top feeder cabinet tray is dead silent.

If you used the combo that I suggested in the past please remove it before it starts to come apart into thousands of tiny pieces all of which are sticky.

It took more than a month for this to happen.

I will post pics of the rubber soon

PachiFriends, I have had great success using mouse pads as a sound deadener at the bottom of my machines and wall cabinets. I use the ones that have a nylon cloth type covering over a neoprene bottom and are about 1/4 - 3/8" thick. I use them with the covering up so the balls hit the nylon, not the neoprene. It works great and as of this moment (in the machines for almost 2 years) not one piece of the mouse pad has come loose.
