Babelfish is a little quicker at doing the translation. But it has problems when some non-text characters are on the page. It then won't translate ANY text on the page and returns an error message. This seems to happen quite frequently.

Worldlingo works better. But once in a while there are times when it is so busy that you get a time-out error.

So my strategy is to always start with Worldlingo. If it is having problems I go to Babelfish. Haft the time Babelfish returns an error. It that's the case I then cut and paste small sections of the text into Babelfish instead of doing the whole page. That usually eliminates the character that is causing the error. I do that for a while (cutting and pasting gets old fast) and then I go back and try Worldlingo again.

Of course BABELFISH will ALWAYS work better when you are translating information on either of these two machines:

They've been going for between $100 and $200 on eBay lately. (plus 60-70 shipping).

Personally, I wouldn't bid over $120, and that's only because it's the holiday season. If this was the middle of the summer I'd hold out for one at under $100. I've got one. It was one of the first few machines I picked up (and, since I didn't know what I was doing, I over paid for it. $150 plus shipping). It's a good machine. Pretty good light show. Nice clear sound. A nice basic machine. But I find that at parties the Babel doesn't get anywhere near the amount of play as most of my other machines.
