Indeed Arby charged me what he paid. Importing a pachinko machine can run at least $700 or more. Especially since most Yahoo Japan sellers wont export the machine. Arby was excellent to work with and if I need another machine in the future, I will go through him. I really appreciate the fact that Compirate found it and Arby did what he did. Fixx

Some machines can be had for less, you just had to have one that's very rare and very desirable (at least in Japan and to you!). I haven't seen too many that were this hard to find and sold so high. Congrats Fixx, now the pressure's off

You are correct of course. Dirty Pair is a VERY popular anime in Japan and anything having to do with it is desirable. I was quite resigned that these machines were in private collections and I would never see one. Whats nice is that I was in the hospital when this all finished and Arby helped me during that difficult time. Its in Chicago now, and I cant wait to get my hands on it.

You are in my back yard so to speak so one of these days we will have to set up a visit. I would love to meet you and see your new machine. I think we tried to get together a while back. My have a little more leeway now in finding a time that works for both of us.

Dirty Pair pachinko has arrived here. Tomorrow I will get it out of its well packed box and see how well it works. I have taken the precaution of purchasing a heavy duty transformer from here for it. I will hopetully have some photos of it tomorrow evening. I do need assistance in re-sizing them cause I dunno how to do this. Fixx..

I really want the 2005 Ultraseven, but... If it can't be found in good enough shape I would probably "settle" for the 2006 Ultraman

Getting back to the topic at hand, I got Dirty Pair Pachinko out of its box and installed a new transformer in it. The game works well and looks good. I hopefully will get some pictures taken tomorrow of it. So far, its been worth the wait/expense. A little cleanup and mounting into my pachinko wall and it will be all set..
