Well, where to start.

Due to a series of unfortunate events, I'll soon be moving back to Arkansas.

It's not that I don't like it here in PA, I do, very much! It's that I was strung along by the Wal-Mart here. They kept saying they were going to hire me, but every time I checked, which was often, they'd come up with an excuse that they hadn't talked to my Pine Bluff Wal-Mart yet.

Then I found out yesterday that they have a hiring freeze on, and no telling how long that will last.

I really can't afford to stay and sponge off Willie for no telling how long, so it's back to Arkansas for me and the cats...alone.

At least my job is still waiting for me there.

oh TJ im sorry to here this buddy it was a big upheavle and and probebly alot of expence to move to PA only to have this happen hope you fid a way around it bofor its to late and you have to move back

Actually, I really like it here. I'm sorry to leave...beautriful place, and so much to do. I just can't do because of money, or rather, the lack of it.

It happens. My District manager helped all he could. The store manager at the PB store was/is a horses behind. He wouldn't help if his life depended on it.

Tony What can I say? Sorry about what you have to deal with in moving yet again.
I was just talking with Dahlia the other day saying that we had to make plans to see you and show you the city figuring that you were now settled. Guess thats on hold once again.
One thought, did you ever consider writting a letter explaining the situation to the President or whatever their title is of the top Walmart boss?
Couldnt hurt. The worse thing that could happen is that you will have to continue with the move.

All nice suggestions, but being kinda familiar with Wal-Marts hiring practice, writing letters to the top dogs really is no help, even if you’re a manager. So someone as low on the totem pole as I am…well, you get the idea.

When Willie and I went to see Dawn (Dattia) a few days ago, she suggested I post a thread and give my approximate route back to Arkansas. Then maybe PachiTalk members along the way would offer to let me visit them. I thought it was an excellent idea!

But what about the people that either don’t like, or are allergic to cats? Don’t forget, I’ll have three unhappy, caged , hungry, and upset cats with me.

Then yesterday I spoke with Mike/Scooby, who lives in Indiana, but is currently in West Virginia trying to help his sister get over the unexpected death of her fiancé, and he had already thought of that…depending on exactly when he leaves there. Only difference is, we could meet probably some place in Kentucky and he would help me drive the rest of the way down, then have his wife pick him up in Pine Bluff.

Scooby would earn my undying gratitude if that happens! He gets along well with the cats, and I most definitely will need help with them, especially on a trip that long!

Tony, I'm gald Billy and I got to meet you when we did. I'm sorry things didn't work out but I hope you come back and visit from time to time. I know you can't stay away from that great food at Dawns dinner for to long. Billy asks me all the time when we could go back and have some more of that terriffic chillie.

Thank you...but I think Chili comes off the menu in the summer. Maybe I can arrange to have a little get-together over the summer. That would be fun!!!
