Default Does it remind you of christmas as a child?

    Hi All,

Not really a poll (have no Idea how set that up) but really just a thread to see how People feel when the Package Arrives...

For Me, When a new Machine (Pachislo or Pachinko) arrives at my door, I can't wait to open it. I get that machine unpacked right away, Give it a quick look over for Wires, Dongle, Transformer...etc, and get it going right away. If it's cold, I can wait to plug it in, but otherwise...I am all over it. I will play for about two days before I pick up all the packing materials and box to put in the Garage. I'm a Bachelor...I can do that sort of thing.

I just wet my pants first, than get all excited real simular to sex, if I remember about that there stuff.

It is like riding a bicycle, you in the saddle, than fall off and cry yourself to sleep.

I unpack it very carefully, put a little mood music on. After the mood is set I slam tokens into it and sit there mindless for about two hours until I hear the kids screaming! Then I awake back to reality

After I debox and unwrap the machine, I open it up and give it a gentle but thorough wiping down before trying to push any of its buttons or get the electricity flowing. Y'know, foreplay.

Then, when I can't wait any more, on to the fevers!

I unpack the machine very slowly enjoying removing every bit of its packing. Then I gently set it on the bench to lovingly caress it for several days with the finest cleaners and polishes in order to let anticipation build before finally letting it work its magic.

I like the rest of you, feel very much like a kid on Christmas day. Except I know what I am getting. And I am very nervous about its safety. After getting over the initial excitement. I inspect the box for damage (taking photos of any damage). Then I cut the box off, and proceed like the rest of you.

I Rip It Open! Plug It In! And Play For A Little Over An Hour! The Box and wrapping go out in the trash shortly after that. Then after a short recess I'm back at it again.

Well I usually take it slowly & carefully & usally have my camera ready to post a few pictures on here for any potential buyers thinking of using the same vendor.

I tell what you I did notice on Youtube the other day when I was looking for a video of a new type of cell phone I was thinking of buying. Loads of people video themselves when they get anything new actually un-boxing the item, bit bizarre really. But maybe the next time I get a new pachi I will video it & post it on Youtube :lol8:

    Well I have a real self-control problem......

and that's before the Package even arrives - Ohhhh the anticipation!

I just can't wait to get at the goodies....

but being a weak female, I usually have to somehow wait until it's been taken out of the box and set up for me....

but there is lots and lots of peeking whilst I'm waiting.....

    and then..........

    Whoo Hoo!

No one sees or hears from me for hours, and woe betide anyone who tries to distract me with Telephones, talking, food or anything...

    Angie ...
Pachinkos, Pachislos, Coffee, Papercraft Ninja, Pinball

I ran away with the Steampunk Circus!

Usally, I'm like a little kid at Christmas, but if it's an unexpected box from Iowa, my eye's start to get misty because I know it's from a very special person.

So ripping the box open, Speed loading the tokens, and walking away before it hits the Big bonus is not good technique?
