Default Panchinko - Are they better now?

superstadium1.jpg Panchinko - Are they better now? We're about to find out.

Last night I sniped the Super Stadium machine for $41.00 It's was a good price so we'll see what I get and when I get it. I paid right away, so there's no hurdle there. I'm not exactly a soccer fan and I could really care less about this particular game although it is a sports game and the reel configuration looks interesting. My intent was only purchasing the lumina frame for one of my other cells.

Now I know I'm going to have to add volume controls, no problem, and pick up a real transformer so the cost will go up and with the measly 300 balls they send you, the price will go up even more. But all in all it's a decent price for the lack of features you get.

The question becomes, can Pachinko manage to satisfy me? I'm not a fan of their 7 mile/7 day warranty but I'm buying a case so I can justify it. Have they improved or not? We'll see.

I was watching the Yoon Sona that went for $2.50 less than this one. By time I added my bid, it would have ended being at least what I paid for this one and I am just not interested in the Yoon Sona theme at all.

So a note to Panchinko/Samurai Slots, don't screw this sale up. Don't send me a scratch and dent model and package it well. If you do manage to screw it up, I will feature it boldy and proudly on the home page with a properly severe roasting.

Congrats on the price!...The videos I have seen of that machine look interesting...especially the reels. I got my Indy from them and it arrived in great condition (practically looked like new). I did have the top row of bulbs burnt out when I recieved it, but they rectified that right away.
One thing I have noticed about Panchinko, they tend to sell machines that are "in Transit" from Japan. I feel that is not a good policy due to the fact there is no way of seeing the quality yet. If an Item sells on Ebay...there should be a picture of the exact item your going to get...not a representaion.

    That's my 2 cents.

The smaller reels inside the larger reel are mounted very lightly. Be prepared for at least one to be dislodged when you get it. I got the Super Stadium from Japan and the Yoon Sona from Arby and they both had the problem. Not the easiest thing to correct. A few things have to be removed to get to them, then you insert a thin screwdriver or other object to re-seat the axle in it's hole. They may not look out of kilter, but when they start to spin, look for any that just jiggle then spin.

Congrats Tulsa. I threw in a couple of sport bids but would have backed off if I knew you were bidding on it. Let us know how it is.

The Blade machine I got from them was in real good shape. Just a minor rub on the side of the door (most likely from opening it in the parlor).
But I had the advantage of using The Compirate kit glove delivery service. So I had no shipping issues.

Julie will go into the best frame of this one or the Indy frame, the Star Wars has it's home in my never saw a parlor frame and Indy, Star Blazers and possibly Super Stadium will share the third case.

Other than to see this one work and unless it really blows me away, I really don't have much interest in this cell at all. It's just a frame to me.

iv had the same problem with the reels tulsa but instead of fair near dismantling the cell just to get at the reel i dremmeled out one of the vents in the back you will see what i mean when you see it just make sure you holding the vent with plyers befor you dremmle it or that will fly inside and inturn you will still have to take it apart
My rice krispies told me to do it

except for slow delivery on my first buy from them, I have been very happy with all 3 I bought from them

the machines were all in excellent condition except for--

the balls were all a little rusty and the tracks were all dusty -- but, were a quick clean up.

    and the prices were great

Nice grab Tulsa - I have the Super Stadium & like it, because of the different reels, but I do also like the soccer theme. I got mine as just the cell I already had the Lumina frame - I probably would not have bought it as a complete frame & cell, but am glad a got the cell.

Had you set this up a month or so ago. I think that it would have been high against Cf.
But since their sales have slowed down, you might get lower odds now.

I think Panchinko will do almost anything to satisfy Tulsa. They know if they don't they will make pachitalk front page. With 3000+ members here I think they will really try to not screw up Tulsa's order.

Rule 1: Don't mess with Tulsa or Tulsa's machines!

I'm going to be fair about this. If it's in good shape and arrives in an acceptable amount of time (two weeks) I'm going to call it good. I'm not expecting pristine and if there are issues, I will post pics and you can decide for yourselves.

If it's sitting on a boat somewhere or arrives all junked up, I will have an issue with that.
