    Default Coin jam reset

My babel has a code CJ which is a coin jam. I don't have a coin jammed in there and can not for the life of me figure it out. I have tried the reset with changing the levels but no sucsess. Any ideas?

Check your connections of course, and also make sure the optical sensors are clean on the coin path.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

I just tried that with no result. Any more suggestions? Could it be that the token mechanism is shot?

Open the door and put a coin in and watch to see how it falls through the token mechanism. The token should go along the grid slot and slide through and register on the credit counter. If the coins does not go through check the grid for anything that may have fallen in or gotten stuck. Try to slide the coin manually through the back on the slide to make it register a credit.

CJ: A token slot is jammed. Push a button at the token slot. Mechanism may have to be cleaned and then reset.

there are many reasons you might get a cj error .are these the same tokens youve been using or are they new ? some mechs have magnets mounted in them and will hold some types of tokens .
also is the cover for the coin mech on (some coin mechs have covers that keep any machine light out if the cover isnt on the belly glass light maybe effecting it .) also check the wiring to the sensor and follow it back to the main board it might have a wire or pin broken flex the connectors and see if it goes away .

Tried all the suggestions, and still the same thing. The tokens are all the same and nothing has changed. Could it be the mwchanisim itself? This is the first encounter of the pachi type that I have had. I have had token jams before on some of the other ones but never a problem. Not like I play this one a whole lot but still a pain in the rear.

I have the same exact problem with my Getter Mouse. Can't figure it out either. Tried the same suggestions. I'm bummed. So I too will be listening to hear what other suggestions you may get. If you do get it figured out will you reply to this? Any other help out there? Thanks...

I had a similar problem with my Speed Racer. I had to hold the rest button in while turning the power button off and then back on. afterwards the error was cleared.
