CJ Errors

I have an Electrocoin Getter Mouse Pachi that lets most coins fall straight to the coin tray and when you do get a few to register and play it you get numerous CJ errors. I assume that is coin jam. I imagine the problem is in the coin mechaism and took it off and cleaned it etc. but still no luck. Tried good clean tokens also. I sure would appreciate some input. The more the better. Getting frustrated.

it sounds like you either need an ajustment made to the coin mech or better tokens . you may also have a problem with the wiring on the coin mech at the plug in connectors if the sensor isnt picking up the signal or holding the signal high or low depending on the machine it will give that same error try flexing the connector a bit with your fingers see if it goes away (you may need 2 people to do it one inside the door one out to put in the tokens .good luck

Still haven't figured this thing out. Anyone think I should try to find a new coin mechanism and know where I would get one?

if the coins are not moving fast enough due to whatever the machine will CJ error. try flicking a few fast down the chute if they pause or slow signifigantly then inspect / clean the coin path. most mech's pop right out for ease of service except the plastic guide on Yamase is the only thing that is removable without tools on that manufacturer.
