Broken Reel glass FTK

I received my Fever the King from CA today. It seemed to packed well in a oversize box and lots of padding and bubble wrap. I did have some damage. the reel gass has a 2 inch crack on the top left. Its hard to believe this happened during shipping. I would guess it was sent out like that. I requested a new piece. In case CA does not fix the issue, anyone have this part or know of one?

I sent some e-mails out to other vendors just in case.
So far they haven't answered my e-mails but its only been one day.

When they answer the email they will tell you to call. Save a step and call tomorrow.

I received a machine from a seller "who shall not be named". The boxed arrived in pristine condition. When I opened the box one of the lens/glass was cracked across the length of it. It was obvious that it was shipped that way and did not happen in transit.

I contacted the seller and they refused to replace it. They stated that it was cosmetic and did not interfere with the function of the machine. The eBay auction picture showed no damage nor did the item's description state any. I filled a complaint with paypal and they froze the money in his account. Needless to say.......I received a replacement pronto after that.

I was wishing you luck on finding a lens, all realality a machine will be stripped for the part, It is just not something a person would have around.

I hope they follow thru with you, but being out of the country, Paypal may not be able to do anything.

Well heres an update. I called Canada Slots today and Talked to a man named Hadison. I told him about the cracked reel cover. He seemed helpfull and said he would have to disassemble another machine and he wouldn't be able to do that until Monday. He asked that I call back Monday morning. So I guess I will call back Monday and see what happens.

I called back today like they requested and talked to Hadison again. He said that his boss told him to refund me $15. I didn't want this. Then I started to get two stories he doesn't have a part then its too cold to ship because the other one might crack also. Bottom line is I have to call back tomorrow.

Ask them to exchange the machine their cost of shipping both ways if they concider it minor.

do a charge back on your card, that will get them moving, remember you got 30 day on any paypal acct

Well after being jerked around for almost a month. Making 5 international calls and sending back the broken part at my own expence. I have yet to receive my replacement glass. I filled a dispute with paypal today. I will keep everyone up to date of the outcome.

Theer is a small chance I will recieve a replacement FTK The vendor asked me to ship back mine at my expense, I said no but I would buy it for a few $$ and keep it for parts. I know you need a part and a purple victory frame will be nice to have around.

I got an e-mail today saying the part was shipped and a UPS tracking number. The part is in Buffalo NY and due on the 6th. I guess the Paypal dispute got things moving. We will see what happens.
