Coins Run Straight to the Tray 50% of the time

Other than cleaning the coin mechanism, is there anything else that could be done to prevent the coins from droppping straight thru to the coin tray? Almost 50% of them go straight thru. Cleaned the coins already.Anything else I could check? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

set aside the rejected coins and see if it will continue to accept the others. you may just have a picky machine or you may just have a bunch of crap tokens . you can adjust the coin mech. how? this depends on the type of coin mech it is.

The alignment of the token validator to the track could be off. a machine I bought needed to be adjusted after the former owner tried a coin conversion.

If you are using tokens, check them with a magnet. Many machines will reject tokens that are attracted by a magnet. You may have to switch to different tokens.

Some coin acceptors have a small but powerful magnet in them to reject steel coins. I have removed the magnet out of mine so it will accept all tokens. Good luck! Eagleman39
