New Pachinko - Indiana Jones

After hearing about the new pachinko vendor on the WEST COAST right here in Southern Cal I have been on a mission to get a new machine. I finally convinced the wife to let me buy a new machine and went with a friend also a pachitalk member out to Samurai Slots with an agreement to pick up a Star Wars Pachinko.

Once we go there... my friend and I were overwhelmed by a warehouse FULL of pachinkos! For the first time I was able to try in person the following machines: Cutie Honey (hubba hubba), Spiderman (very cool), Star Wars (Star Wars), Lupin (best music), Julie Pinball (most interesting).

Confronted with all these machines my decision to buy Star Wars waivered and I finally settled for Indiana Jones. Why you ask? As much as I love the Star Wars theme the music seemed very redundant and a bit grating. If I was already noticing that in just 10 minutes of play I figured by a month I would be pretty burnt out on the music.

I will say that during my visit the new Lupin machine probably had the coolest in game music of any machine I tried. However, since I am a LUPIN nub I just don't know the theme at all... I thought that Indiana Jones music was a lot more pleasent than the Star Wars. I also was amazed by the animatronics. Star Wars has an amazing R2D2! Indiana Jones has a laughing moving SKULL HEAD... A cool mine car comes jumping out of the side... and two of the walls actually fall down in front of the LCD making this the machine the most loaded with animatroncis I have EVER seen.... So in my book... it had good music, AWESOME theme, Off the hook Animatronics! I played a lot of pachinko this weekend... and this machine is definately a winner.

I would also like to point out that all the machines that we saw were in pristine condition! I would have to give the condition of the machines 8 or 9! They were almost flawless... Aside from a little cleaning of the glass and plastic these machines looked like that had been hardly used... I even found a big piece of tape over the asstray on my unit so I am 99% certain it came from a non smoking parlor.

Amazing Quality and Amazing Pachinko.... I can highly recommend Samurai Slots hence forward with no hesitation as they were just awesome and had beautiful machines in fantastic condition!

Thanks for the comparison I have played the Indy , star wars and Julie, I seem to like the Indy a little better as well. But like cars the machines appeal to other people in different ways.

Wish I knew the date, we could have had a mini convention. I am going to drop them a line...Get a list from him and gather up a order from my pals. I'll then take a day off work and make the trip. I can get a extra for the shipping cost of 1 machine.
