Default Sinbad seems not to pay

    Hi All!

Got a strange problem with Sinbad Adventure. It seems not to be paying out the Big Bonuses. I have been feeding thousands of medals into the thing, but has yet only given a small bonus one time,

    A few facts:

    1. The hopper works fine.
    2. The machine is set to level 6.
    3. The screen seems to loose power for less than a tenth of a second now and again.(has this anything to do with it?? I don't know!)
    4. The internal clock, when you goto the menu looses time (runs slow!) - lost over three hours in four weeks.
    5. It has had over 5000 medals played!

Do these have an internal battery to back-up such data - as a PC has with the BIOS?

    Please help the confused !!

Theres nothing wrong with your game. Pachi's just like all slots go through cycles. hot and cold, very hot and very cold, very very hot and very very cold. Yours is just very very cold. All of a sudden it will become very very hot, without warning. Just keep playing and enjoy all its wonders. My screen use to blink like you described every once in while too, so I'm sure its normal with this game.
Most games have an internal battery but they don't last too long being unplugged. Some last a day some a few months. Nothing to worry about. Just drop in tokens and enjoy your game. You have one of the best out there.

Re-set the machine. Mine is a stingy one, the Mrs. won't play in anymore.

My Sinbad is the same way; very, very stingy. We started calling it "Stinge-Bad" about a week ago. Still love the game though!

    Check your level.
My machine defaults back to level1 if it has not been plugged in for a few days. It got very tight and I had to go and take tokens out of the hopper. I thought that it was broken.
I checked the level and it was set to "1".
I put it up to 6 and it emptied out the hopper.
I had to keep opening it up to put tokens in.
Now I keep it set at 4 and I have found a middle ground.
It still gets hot and cold.....just not as bad.

If you leave it off for a few days check the payout level, as everyone says it may have changed by itself.

My Sinbad goes into cheap-ass mode from time to time. It's annoying. When it does that I punish it and ignore it for a while. I play another machine...it gets jealous...and eventually with loosen up. But it can be stubborn.

And yes! My video does that as well. It just kind of flickers real quick every once in a while. Whew...I was a little worried it was a sign of something bad on the horizon. Now I know it's happening to a few people so it must be normal.

Funny I just noticed a flicker on mine for the first time today. I never noticed this on Hanabi Fireworks. I wonder if Guts, Beast sapp, Monkey vs crab or any other similar Sindbad type machine does this from time to time as well. Not really a big deal though.

Guts! and Beast Sapp don't do it. I never played Fireworks, so I'm not sure about that. Monkey vs. Crab is a Bellco machine with a much smaller and different LCD but it does not flicker either. At least mine didn't. Only Sinbad, I have been through 4 of them and all 4 did it.

Although Beast Sapp is virtually very similar to Sindbad, my Beast does not flicker like my sindbad does.
