Default Julie, Star Wars, or Indiana Jones?

Hi all! I would appreciate some input please - I have the budget to purchase one pachinko machine to be the "flagship" of my collection. I currently have the Sankyo Wanted machine and the Takeya Vegas machine, and am looking for a great machine to head up my collection. So, which one of the three would YOU get? Keep in mind I am both a Star Wars and an Indiana Jones fan, but theme aside, how do the three play? The Julie machine looks cool beyond words, with the little steel ramps and the mini pinball playfield.

Julie the Pinball seems to be the hot machine right now, but is the theme over the top or silly? I am no stranger to Japanese culture, but I know nothing about Julie the J-Pop star. Has anyone played all three machines - what makes each special? What little neat features do they have? I am going to check the museum for more comments, but if you all could enlighten me, oh great gurus of pachinko, I would be very appreciative. Thanks!

    Aba

Although I have all three Machines.....

I couldn't put one ahead of the other two

Julie is certainly a must have, I doubt you would ever get bored of it

but Star Wars and Indiana Jones are also up there with Julie as the best of the best!!

If you are certain it can 'be only one' (I doubt this ) then you must see if you can find one to play first as only then will you probably be able to make up your mind...

Also, have you checked out the Museum, Threads, Journals and Videos on Pachitalk...

They may turn up some tempting reason to sway you towards one of these fantastic Pachinkos!!

Hi - I have all 3 games also & it is very difficult to choose a favourite out of the three as others above has also said. The good thing though about all three that you are thinking of getting is that they all fit the same Lumina frame, so whichever one you go for you can at a later stage buy just the cell part of the other & then switch them into your frame. That is what I do

Wow - you guys are FAST! I really appreciate the prompt response - I am in the middle of looking at the Museum and videos, other forum posts, etc. but I really appreciate all the responses! I am just so torn - ok, here's another quick question. How will the availability of these machine be, say, 6 months into the future? Will I still be able to get all three machines? I know Star Wars has been around for a while, but I don't know much else. Thanks again all - you all ROCK!

I have Star Wars and Julie...I like them both very much. You cannot go wrong with either of them. As for future availability...not sure as my crystal ball is malfunctioning at the moment Actually, I had to smile at that. Since you already have these machines on your mind, I doubt you will wait the six months

    to is good!!

anyway, as I understand it - Star Wars has been around for quite a while now and examples in Excellent Condition are becoming harder to find...

On the other hand - Julie is appearing for sale quite regularly in the US and seems to be a good price at the moment..

I think the same applies to Indiana Jones too...

As for looking into the future - Who Knows??

It all depends on how many are coming out of the Parlours, and indeed how many were installed in them in the first place......unless you manage to get your hands on a new one or Cell of course....

The only known fact is that there is sure to be another Tempting Pachinko just around the corner sooner or later...

If you were considering price as a factor then Indy is probably going for the lowest on ebay at the moment. Julie is a little higher although it could be coming down slowly (I'm hoping). Star Wars is still consistently over the $200 mark.

I love the Indy I just got. I wanted all three as well. I'll probably get a Julie next for the same reasons you said - the cool theme and ramps etc. Seeing as how close they are, as the lucky owners of all three have said, current price was a big factor.

Chrish and myself being in the UK obviously pay a higher price for our Pachinkos but I think I can speak for both of us?? and say there were worth EVERY penny!!

You Guys & Gals in the US have a chance to pick up some truly Fantastic Machines for super low prices...

So what's stopping you - go for all three!!

Good point....email Samuraislots, who apparently has good stock on all these. Maybe they'll offer you a good deal.

Smile Re: Julie, Star Wars, or Indiana Jones?

Star Wars has been around for awhile and the latest ones coming here have seen a lot of use in the palours.

Julie and Indie are newer models and should be in better condition.

I don't have any of these, but if I was a buyer my first choice of the three would be Julie.

I owned Julie, Casino King and Spiderman Neo. Out of these three I liked Casino King the best, Julie came in a very close second.

I'm thinking like Abacab and then I hear that the Star Wars machines are coming in a bit "over used?" NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Say it isn't so! I had decided on getting that one next, over the Julie. What should I do? Wait for Star Wars? Or will the supply soon be more limited?

well prices on SW probably aren't going to drop alot. but deals can be found.the ones your seeing now spent a year in the parlors before shipping. they'll just be sending longer used ones the longer you wait. the Julies we are getting were released last spring and so were probably out of the parlors after 3-5 months. as you wait they'll only be selling longer used machines.
