I used to paste these stickers up when I was young, I did not know I was spending $4000 instead of a nickel, who knew?
Ebay + "collectors" = insane prices

I got over $800.00 for a complete set of about 80 color Topps Beatles cards from the 70's on Ebay.

My cost $25.00

I bought a Beatles collection for $300.00, broke it up and got almost $2,000.00 on Ebay!!!

Star Wars is like the Spin Luck in the way that last year everyone wanted one, now this year the price is high, but think in 20 years what they will be worth when Star Wars would be re-re-released again.

I had a stack of Hong Kong magazines featuring Bruce Lee I bought in the early 70s. Each one cost me under a dollar, most under 50 cents. I sold them on ebay for, on average, $250 -$300 each, almost exclusively to guys in Japan.

Along the lines of that TV commercial (Burger King?)....that's like a whole Star Wars Pachinko per magazine!
