    Default Julian Beever

Julian Beever is the premier artist of 3d payment drawings. We have seen some of his work before here. Here is his website that features some of his work :

It was interesting to see him work at E3 last year. They had a camera mounted so you can view it at the correct angle to see the depth of it. Took him 2 days to do one.

Actually E3 is in Los Angeles at the convention center every year. CES is in Vegas. Yes, sadly E3 is now a smaller media only convention now and no longer the powerhouse it used to be. Rumors have it that the bigger companies (EA, Sony, Microsoft) were complaining that they were paying in the millions for booths, swag, entertainment.. and getting slim to little in their returns. So they pulled out, and without their support (Sony & Microsoft easily filled one hall) they decided to rethink the show.

However, on a side note... I can't remember who... but another company was going to try and make a public gaming trade show (E3 was industry and media only) in Los Angeles, so we will see if we have a good open forum for upcoming games this year.
