This is local for me and I'm wondering what sort of machine it is/could be. Note that the vendor talks about varying faces. The price looks decent...but I have no real clue and bow to the masters as I ask for help.

faces may vary = the machine you get is what we feel like giving you. these guys buy returns from various pachi dealers. your get a random broken pachi from a dealer with no knowledge and no support.

Just as an update to anyone who cares: My Pink Panther has yet to be plugged in. I'm waiting until we "give it" to the boys for Christmas. We're building a cabinet this week. Wish me luck. I'm dying to play the damn thing!

Really a powerup and a few test spins will be good, they are often shipped with the button off, It would be better to find it (the on button) now than christmas morning with anxious kids bouncing around. People have reported DOA machines when it really was turned off.
