Twist pachislot joystick question / lighting question

Hello all,

I just got a Twist pachislot for my parents for Christmas and I was wondering is the joystick supposed to light up?

Also on the upper part of the machine on the left where it says "million dollar rock" and on the right where the people are dancing, does any of that light up? Just wondering it seems kind of dark up there.

I think the spin know should light up just before you go into a bonus round.

It gets people in the Palours to keep playing the machine

Yes, the knob is supposed to light up. I'll be back soon with the answer to your other question.

The other areas that you mentioned do not light up, however, in the center of them is a red spinning light that does light up before you go into bonus.

Great thanks for the info! what about the 1 2 3 under the first reel does that light? I assume that is how many tokens you put in. My parents isn't lighting.

I know on the pachi's so many things sit un-lit until a pre-bonus or a bonus.

Edit - I just talked to my parents and they are in bonus and the 1 2 3 is lit.. so it's not the amount of inserted tokens.

They are loving it! They called me during the bonus to say how much they liked it and I heard the music going!

It's got them wanting a 2nd machine and I just gave this one to them a few hours ago!! It was the perfect choice because they have the small desktop wurlitzer CD player with the bubbler, etc

I also ordered a neon route 66 for on top to kind of keep the oldies theme going!

They think they are soooo cool!!

I got mine basically as a decoration for a 50's cafe renovation in my basement. After finding my way here, I continued with a Betty Boop machine and a Hound Dog in keeping with my theme. I love the Betty Boop. Glad your parents are having fun with it!!!

Sounds like you have a nice setup there, themed rooms are always really neat!

Are the reels on your twist kind of noisy? I only have PoPeye and Fever Queen to compare them to (Magic Pulsar hasn't arrived yet) but Twist seems about 3 times louder than my other machines (maybe it's an olympia thing) I am not sure.

Ahh ok, the sound isn't enough to be bothersome I was just curious.

On another note my Sammy Popeye is really quiet but before the reels start spinning I can hear something that sounds like a relay clicking... I guess all these machines have their own "character"

try a yamsar machien liek neo plannet sounds like a washing machien on spin cycle

every ine grumbles at yamsars reel noise its kinda there trade mark along with the lcd overlay
