Curious about shipping costs.

I just sent somone a computer to Lexington, Ky the weight was 82 pounds but the shipping was only$ 54.37 and I had them pack my already packed box into another box just for extra safety.

Why do Pachislo vendors charge $79 ????

To cover the cost of the staff or their labor charge. You did not charge for your time to pack and take to the shipper.

boxes and materials usually run about 15.00 to 20.00 plus labor of packing.

there have been other threads about this, Arby usually breaks even or loses a few bucks on shipping and packing.

Plus the materials used for packing such as plastic wrap and foam and packing peanuts.

Plus a pachi box is at least twice the size of a computer box. Bigger the box, bigger the bux.

My Pachis cost $45 each to ship using my UPS account...that's insured to $400. Dealers charge more for the special packing.

the distance between the two points and the box is over size.
you can lie about the size, but they will catch you.

It is far better to be honest about it.

I am sending out a 20 x 24 x 36 box, this gives 2 inches of packing per side atleast to be covered by UPS insurance.
weight 77 to 83 pounds, yes the machine weight is around 48 pounds, but the box and packing weight is included too.
